We are general domestic contractors and shop fitter’s by trade and still actively price jobs everyday.
When we started looking at existing estimating, pricing and costing systems, we realised that many were very old-fashioned and not flexible enough for what we wanted to do. Many promised a lot and failed to deliver and it was based on this we decided to develop our own system. We then realised other people might be interested in using it as well and have given it a new lick of paint and got it ready for the contractors to help them. We looked at the market and saw that most of the software was based on old software and Microsoft Excel, computers have moved along way and we wanted to use the power and flexibility of these new technology’s.
We had no large investment tied up in legacy systems so had nothing to right off when creating the new system. The system has been designed from the ground up to be available on all computers. Using web technology enables us to make sure that almost all devices connected to the internet can use the system, this can mean Windows Computers, Apple Macs, Linux, Ipads, Android and smart phones. That means when you are on site you can add those extras into the job at the same time as quoting the customer, this means you won’t forget these things and having to end up paying for the items yourself. You only need an internet connection to use the system.

The on-line storage we use is based in Amazons AWS cloud, statistically its more likely that your hard drive will fail than the servers we run on failing, however you can take unlimited backups at any time when ever you want for free.

Our business model relies on you using the system time and time again, we have no minimum contracts so if you don’t like it you simply cancel your membership and leave, other software companies expect huge sums of money up front and have smooth talking sales reps. We don’t pay sales reps as we just don’t need them, you exposure is very limited if you don’t like the product.
